Here's a family of happy faces enjoying the day with us at Paris Flea Market in Livermore, CA, where they found out what happens when you mix a beautiful sunny day with beautiful bargains! You get a Parking Lot Sale! It was our first parking lot sale and we great weather for both new and long-time customers getting in on the deals.



They came any way they could get here (even if it meant pedaling all the way from Danville!).



Even we "Fleas" couldn't resist a little shopping!






Our July "Go Bagless!" winner, Sandy Anderson, came by the desk to claim her $25.00 gift Certificate, and she then headed straight to the parking lot to begin her shopping spree!



Upstairs in our Le Chic Boutique of vintage and contemporary clothing, a career flight nurse out of San Diego finds something to salute: a military hat inscribed with a label from a flight nurse from the 1940's!



She can't walk yet, but baby Dorothy didn't let that stop her from shopping (and handing out smiles!).

A Magical July in Paris

There's a little magic for everyone at Paris Flea Market in Livermore, CA. Bring a few friends and you can all join in! Let's see what was happening around the shop during our last opening, July 12 - 15th, shall we?


These are familiar faces! These three ladies come every month, rain or shine. After a little shopping downstairs, they head up to our Paris Cafe in our "Le Chic Boutique" upstairs to share their pending purchases and have some complementary coffee and crumpets.



Oh dear! Yes, it was hot, but this is no way to cool off! Please dress appropriately when you come!



Downstairs there was a magic show of sorts going on! The Cece Caldwell Paint was flying in the able hands of our resident painting magicians, Karen and Lonae.






They both were demonstrating just what this Cece chalk & clay based paint can do, with the most trendiest colors of the hour: Spring Hill Green and Simply White!






We can safely demonstrate INSIDE our shop with this paint since there's NO overwhelming odors or fumes! Two chairs got the Cece treatment during our demo.



And for you lovers of a fabulous shortcut to re-upholstering chair seats--you will NOT believe this! You can use this paint to cover up the old seat--no removal needed! Just paint and seal with CeCe Caldwell's Satin Finish and you're done!






TA DA!



And all the customers got in on the fun!





Here's a kitchen cabinet door brought in by a customer who wanted a souvenir of the Cece magic performance to take back home. Take one um, sorry to say, totally unattractive oak door from circa 1970, give your Cece Simply White can a good shake, insert brush, apply Cece's Clear Wax and..........................................



PRESTO change-o, your ugly kitchen is now updated to cottage chic!

Red Hats And Babies

Don't be such a BABY! Well, unless you're going to be a cute baby! And we had a lot of cuties at Paris Flea Market during one of our last openings. Take a look for yourself:

Do You Cece What I See?

Oh say can you see.....how pretty Cece Caldwell Paint colors look on furniture?



Take the desk and chair above for example! This was a desk you might find hidden in the back of the garage at an estate sale. It's got great panel-front drawers and lots of molding, but it lacked any VA-VOOM until a brush loaded with Cece's "Alaska Tundra Green" paint (don't forget there's NO NEED to prime or sand before hand!) upgraded it into the center of attention!




And what about this formerly frumpy cabinet that was missing a few drawers? A thin coat of "Pittsburgh Gray" followed by a wash of "Vintage White", an easy to apply coat of clear wax, a few baskets on the shelves and you've got a great "new" office organizer!



Need to add a little pop of color in the powder room? Cece Caldwell's "Santa Fe Turquoise" will be your new best friend! There are over 30 colors to choose from and we've got them all, plus Clear Wax and the Satin Finish coating.

New colors are being dreamed up monthly, it seems and we want to Cece what YOU are doing with yours! Please send us your photos so we can share them here. And if you're in need of more paint, you can stock up during our July 12 - 15th opening!

Sisterly Love

Hope you made it to our June 17 - 10th sale! We were busy and it seemed like everybody and their brother was there, or um, more like everybody and their SISTER (plus a Mom or two) was there--literally!

You Drive Us Crazy!

But, in a GOOD way! We love to see the relationships our customers have with their cars, because some cars have a personality all their own. Like on this post from our other store, Room With A Past.

Here's cute little Paris Flea Market customer Tonya Dye, with her equally as cute, super spiffy mini car!



Hey what's that she's got in her hands? It's one of the reusable shopping bags we sell! Notice the resemblance? Who could resist?!?!? (Hope you're aware of our $25.00 shopping spree raffle for using a "green" bag, too! If not, make sure you ask about it next time you're in!)



And here's a familiar face who always sweetens up our 4 days a month at the shop, Jo Schwan, with her ultra hip, all-American PT Cruiser.



Whatcha' got there Jo? She's an expert at hunting down goodies, popping the hatch, packing them in the back, and tootling on down the road.

Our Friends at Mes Amis

There's nothing like a great Antique and Street Fair to make you feel like



a little girl again!





On April 21, we packed up our goodies and took to the road leading to Roseville, CA, for the Mes Amis Vintage Antique Faire.



Of course, plenty of CeCe Caldwell Paint was the first thing we packed into our caravan!

We were only one among many vendors, and while it was busy, busy, busy, we still had a chance to do a little shopping of our own! Let's take a look:
